Spotlight Dance Academy is a vibrant dance studio located in Minehead. Established in 2006, by fully qualified and professional dancer Laura Cook. We are dedicated to providing high-quality dance education in a supportive and inclusive environment. Our experienced instructors are committed to helping students develop their skills and passion for dance. Our shows are held locally at The Regal Theatre in Minehead. These provide fun and excitement for all our students. Everyone has the chance to be a star and our shows prove very popular and are nearly always sold out!

Every child is carefully taught and all have the opportunity to study for examinations with the I.D.T.A all achieving excellent results in all genres. We are very proud of our 100% exam pass rate!

Many of our students go on the follow courses in the performing arts at local colleges, and some further afield such as The English Youth Ballet, LIPA, Performers College, LMA, Ballet Boost & The Royal Ballet.
